Tour Highlights: Shanti Stupa, Local Market Walk
On your arrival at Leh Airport, you’ll be greeted by our tour representative who will assist with your transfer to the reserved hotel. The first day is purposely kept relaxed for acclimatization to Leh’s high altitude. In the evening, visit the impressive Shanti Stupa (Peace Pagoda), which offers panoramic views over Leh, and then enjoy a leisurely stroll through the vibrant local market bustling with handicrafts and jewelry. The rest of the day is yours to explore or simply unwind and take in the crisp mountain air.

Tour Highlights: Shey Monastery, Thiksey Monastery, Hemis Monastery
Have a lazy breakfast before heading out on an enriching excursion to the famed Indus Valley, home to some of Ladakh’s most historic monasteries. Begin at Shey Monastery, once the summer seat of Ladakhi kings and known for its grand 7.5-foot-tall gilded Buddha statue. Continue to Thiksey Monastery, dramatically perched on a hilltop and showcasing striking architecture and vibrant murals. Finally, visit Hemis Monastery, one of the largest in Ladakh and famous for its annual festival that draws visitors from around the world.
